The Hayfield baseball team beat Lake City (3-10 overall) 12-1 in five innings on the road Wednesday.

Adam Fjerstad threw just 50 pitches to get the mound win for the Vikings (6-6 overall, 4-5 HVL) and he also knocked in a pair of runs.
