Austin’s Hansen breaks her own shot put record in Mankato West Invite

Austin senior Amber Hansen put the icing on the cake of her own school record as the Packer girls took second in the Mankato West track and field triangular Tuesday.

Hansen added more than two feet two her previous school record throw in the shot put as she threw the shot put a distance of 43 feet, 2.5 inches. Hansen took first in the shot put and discus.

Taige Iverson dropped her best time by over four-tenths of a second to win the 100-meter hurdles and Colie Justice took first in the triple jump and second in the long jump.
