There will be a tryout for boys interested in playing American Legion baseball this summer in Austin at Marcusen Park 10 a.m. to noon May 21.

The tryout is open to all Austin area ballplayers that are currently sophomores, juniors and seniors and were born on or after January 1, 1998. There is nominal fee to play with scholarships available.

Registration will start at 9:45 a.m.
