The Austin baseball team was able to get its bats going when it beat Owatonna (5-5 overall, 2-3 Big Nine) 14-2 in five innings on the road Thursday.

Phillip Zynda had two hits and an RBI, and Riley Retterath and Forrest Lewis each had two hits for Austin (5-4 overall, 3-1 Big Nine).

Nate Murphy picked up the mound win as he pitched four innings for the Packers and Luke Hawkshead pitched one inning in relief.
