Austin adapted bowlers win two state championships

The Austin Packers adapted bowling team brought home two state championships Friday.

In Singles, Tianna Weigel bowled personal best games with a score total of 466 to capture the singles state title.  In Doubles, CeCe Devries and Kylee Haney captured the state title in doubles with Kylee Haney, bowling five consecutive strikes in the final frames of the second game in doubles to help put the contest out of reach with a combined score total of 935.

Logan Farnsworth was the State Runner-up in singles in his Division.  Tyra Wiles took third place in her division in girls singles.  Kylee Christopherson bowled a personal best game to move into fourth place in the girls singles in her division.  Courtney Karnes took fifth place in singles, and Selena Shada and Annika Malakai took fourth place in Doubles.
