Elissa Goskeson and Eric Volkman, both of Plymouth, Minnesota, were married on Sept. 24, 2016 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Rev. Michael Olmsted of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiated. A reception followed the ceremony, also at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The maid of honor was Emily Goskeson of Albert Lea, Minnesota, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Davidson of Geneva, Minnesota, friend of the couple; Betsy Polis of Golden Valley, Minnesota, sister of the groom; Marianne Trom of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, friend of the couple; Jessica Quinn of Medina, Minnesota, friend of the couple; Laura Wagner of New Richland, Minnesota, friend of the couple; and Cassie Mullen of Shakopee, Minnesota, friend of the couple.

The best man was Mike Rauenhorst of Albert Lea, Minnesota, friend of the couple; Jordan DeVries of Albert Lea, Minnesota, friend of the couple; Mike Polis of Golden Valley, Minnesota, brother-in-law of the groom; Josh Elwood of Faribault, Minnesota, friend of the couple; Jeff Thorstad of Albert Lea, Minnesota, friend of the couple; and Alex Hanson of Faribault, Minnesota, friend of the couple.

The usher was Gage Flatness of New Richland, Minnesota, cousin of the bride. Personal assistants were Anna Payne of Redwood City, California, friend of the couple; and Megan Rauenhorst of Albert Lea, Minnesota, friend of the couple.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Cynthia Goskeson of Albert Lea and granddaughter of George and Deloris Goskeson of Albert Lea, and Ronald and the late Esther Lokken of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Recreation, Parks & Leisure Studies, and a 2013 graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she received her Master of Eduction in Kinesiology with a Sport Management emphasis. She is a Conference Center Coordinator for General Mills and Group Events Assistant for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx.

The groom is the son of Neil and Mary Jo Volkman of Albert Lea, and grandson of Doris and the late Irwin Volkman of Albert Lea, and Lily and the late Johnny Anderson of Albert Lea. He is a 2012 graduate of Augsburg College, where he triple-majored in M.I.S., Economics, and Business Management. He is employed with General Mills as a Supply Chain IT Analyst.

Following the wedding, the couple visited Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida for their honeymoon, and will reside in Plymouth, Minnesota.
