A local church and service group is  looking to help out with a bit of early Mother’s Day shopping.

The Salvation Army Church will host a Ladies’ Night Out open house from 5 to 8 p.m. at the church on Friday.

This fundraiser for World Services and will feature more than 25 vendors including food, antiques for sale and a silent purse auction. The sale will feature more than 60 new name-brand purses, such as: Coach, Guess, Gloria Vanderbilt, D & C, Fossil and more.
