Riverland Community College softball player Allison Sharp put together a solid performance for the Blue Devils both from the plate and the pitching circle over the week of April 10-16, and has been named the Athlete-of-the-Week in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Southern Division.

As a pitcher, Sharp struck out four Ridgewater batters, walked only one and led her RCC team to a 10-2 victory. She scattered six hits across the 25 hitters faced and conceded two earned runs. Sharp also had 3 RBIs in game one to lead Riverland in that category.

In game two, the Cold Spring, Minnesota native went 3-for-4, scoring a run and knocking in a run as well.

RCC will put their two-game winning streak on the line when it hosts No. 3 St. Cloud Technical and Community College on Friday.
