Mankato West blanks Austin boys tennis team

The Austin boys tennis team lost 7-0 to Mankato West on the road Thursday.
Jens Ourada put up a good fight for the Packers (1-1 overall, 1-1 Big Nine) in the No. 1 singles match as he lost 6-4, 7-6 (2) to Ford Johnson of Mankato West.
“The No. 1 singles match was a war,” Austin head coach Jeff Anderson said. “Both Jens and Ford were both playing at a high level. It was a great match for this early in the season.”
