The Blooming Prairie boys golf team opened the season with a team score of 174 as it beat Triton, which had a 299, in BP Thursday.

The BP boys were led by meet medalist Tommy Braaten, who shot a 38 and the BP girls were led by meet medalist Taylor Christianson, who shot a 44.
