Austin Toastmaster moving on in competition
A local Toastmaster and Austin business owner is moving on to the next level of an area speech competition.
On April 1, Pam Hollrah-Asleson, RN, DTM won both the Evaluation and International Speech contests at the Area 55 Toastmasters Speech Contest.
The next level of the speech competition is Division F, which is southeast Minnesota, on Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church. The winner at that level will compete at the District 6 Conference competing against Toastmasters from Minnesota and part of Ontario the weekend of May 5-6 in Plymouth.
Toastmasters events are open to the public! You are welcome to join us April 22 and cheer on your local favorite.
Hollrah-Asleson is a member of the Austin-nites Toastmasters and the Tuesdays with Toastmasters Clubs in Austin, as well as Power Talk Toastmasters in the cities.
