The Austin softball team ran into a whirlwind when it faced off against a North Dakota State University commit and lost 11-0 in five innings in Stewartville Tuesday.

Kara O’Bryne, who has committed to play softball for the Bison, led off the game with a home run and she struck out 13 to get the no-hit shutout for the Tigers (1-0 overall). Austin (1-3 overall) had just three base runners in the loss.
