The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team controlled the pace early on as it beat Fillmore Central (14-9 overall) 66-33 in Pacelli Gym Monday.

Senior Caitlin Roberts scored a career-high 14 points on senior night for the Athletics (19-5 overall) and Kristi Fett scored 18 of her 22 points in the first half.

“We played extremely well,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “We got Kristi touches early and she dominated the paint. Our defensive rotations were good and I’m proud of the way we bounced back after a tough offensive night on Saturday.”
