Lynn A. Mytten, 72

Lynn A. Mytten, 72, of rural Wabasha, Minnesota, died of natural causes at his home on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017.

He was born Feb. 2, 1945, in Austin, Minnesota, the son of Elmer “Bud” and Dixie Mytten. Lynn worked at Geo. A. Hormel Company in Austin for many years. After he retired he moved to Sand Prairie, rural Wabasha.He enjoyed hunting, fishing and driving his motorcycle.

He is survived by daughter, Kari Peterson, Austin; son, Derek Lerum, Austin; four grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Bill Zeimetz, Kenosha, Wisconsin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Jean Mytten, Wabasha, and Randy and Diann Mytten, Wabasha; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A time to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held at a later date.  The Abbott Funeral Home of Wabasha is in charge of arrangements.
