The Hayfield girls basketball team took control early on as it beat Triton (3-20 overall, 0-13 HVL) 78-52 on the road Friday.

Maggie Streightiff had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Vikings (18-4 overall, 13-2 HVL) and Kate Kruger added 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Hayfield will play at Lyle-Pacelli in Pacelli Gym 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
