The Hayfield boys basketball team hung on to beat Triton (8-13 overall, 2-10 HVL) 49-43 in Hayfield Friday.

The Cobras pulled to within 45-43 late in the game but Trace Tebay, who had 19 points, and Mason Tapp, who had 14 points, each went two-for-two on free throws down the stretch to seal the win.

Hayfield (11-11 overall, 7-7 HVL) will now get some time recharge as its next game isn’t until Feb. 18.
