Flanders nets second straight hat trick as Packers beat Simley

Austin junior Bryar Flanders kept up his hot streak as the Packer boys hockey team beat Simley (2-18-2 overall) 7-5 in Riverside Arena Tuesday.
Flanders netted a hat trick for the second straight game and Brayden Merritt had two goals. Tanner Hoban and Dylan Svoboda each scored one goal and Jack Dankert had four assists for Austin (10-10 overall).
Austin took a 3-0 lead in the first period and it scored nine seconds early into the second period to go up 4-0.
Ryan Flanders had 38 saves for Austin, which had 45 shots on goal.
