The No. 7 seeded Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball kept its season alive when it beat No. 10 Christian Life Academy (6-16 overall) 77-33 in a Section 1A West tournament game in Lyle Tuesday.
Trinity Anderson hit seven three-pointers and he scored 27 points in the win for the Athletics (10-15 overall).
“The guys played really well. We really created a lot of turnovers,” LP head coach Scott Koenigs said. “We trapped and we pressed and we changed things up to make them as uncomfortable as possible.”
The Athletics will play at No. 2 Southland 7 p.m. Thursday. The Rebels beat LP 60-54 Jan. 28.
