According to court records, Anderson and the victim engaged in sexual activities more than a dozen times in late 2015 when the two would leave school together.

Anderson allegedly knew the victim’s age and told her to keep their relationship quiet.

A search warrant uncovered several messages and calls exchanged by the two.

When interviewed by police last year, Anderson said he never considered their relationship “dating,” saying they were good friends.

He didn’t admit to engaging in sexual acts with the victim; however, he told officers the victim to wanted to date him but he ended it because it “was wrong” due to her age.

Anderson is slated to next appear in court on March 9.

Bergstrom

Michael Anthony Bergstrom, 18, faces third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges and a charge for exchanging sexual communications with a minor, both felonies.

According to court records, a father approached police in January after finding out his 15-year-old daughter had been sexting Bergstrom.

After being interviewed by police, Bergstrom allegedly admitted to having sex with the victim on three occasions and engaging in other activities on other occasions. He also admitted to sexting the victim and admitted he knew it was wrong due to her age.

Bergstrom is scheduled for a June 26 trial.
