The Austin Packer dance team kept its state streak alive at the Section 1AA meet in Kasson Saturday.

The Packers took second place in high kick to earn a place in the state meet and they took fourth in the jazz competition.

Faribault took first in high kick and jazz.

The Packers, who have now qualified for state 15 years in a row, will compete in the Minnesota Class AA State High Kick State preliminaries in Target Center in Minneapolis 11:30 a.m. Feb. 18 with Austin scheduled to perform at around 3:12 p.m. that day.

If Austin advances to the finals, it will compete again at 7:15 p.m. The competition can be viewed on www.prep45.com
