Southland boys basketball team gets past Fillmore Center

The Southland boys basketball team survived an injury to one of its starters to beat Fillmore Central (5-7 overall) 71-56 in Adams Thursday.
Garett Mullenbach went down with an early inure, but the Southland bench was able to step up in the win.
Jared Landherr had 20 points and three assists for the Rebels (5-2 overall).
“We made a nice little run and it was an all around effort,” Southland head coach Matt Webber said.
