Six pair of Air Jordans, each pair valued at almost $200, were just some of the items taken in an early morning burglary Friday in northwest Austin.

A 26-year-old male reported that a 46-inch LG Smart television and a 40-inch Vizio television, together valued at $2,300, were also taken.

Four luxury watches, together valued at $900, and another $1,000 in clothing, were also missing.

He told Austin police that he was not sure why anyone would break into his apartment on the 300 block of Sixth Place Northwest when he reported the incident at 1:57 a.m. Friday.

He said he believed the burglary must have happened between 2 and 5 p.m. on Thursday. Police found the front door lock split from its moorings.

There are no suspects at this time, said Police Chief Brian Krueger.
