Ronald Josef Wradislavsky, 65

Ronald Josef Wradislavsky, 65 of Austin, Minnesota, died at his home on Saturday, Jan.21, 2017.

Ronald was born on Dec. 5, 1951, in Austin, to John and Pat (Wilkerson) Wradislavsky. He graduated from Austin High School in 1970. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. At the end of his enlistment, he joined the National Guard and studied carpentry at the Austin Vo-Tech. He worked for Austin Products, Bill Moen Construction and several other construction companies before becoming employed at the Weyerhaeuser Company. On July 14, 1979, Ron married Lynette Holstad and together they raised two children, Josh and Chelsea. Ron and Lynette operated Wrads Rags & Awards from 2001 to the present.

Ron was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church, the Austin Pool League, and the Mower County Trailblazers Saddle Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking whether it was making picture frames, finish work or decks. He also had a passion for fishing, playing pool, cribbage, and dice games.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ron is survived by his wife, Lynette Wradislavsky, Austin; son. Josh and Lynn Wradislavsky, Austin; daughter. Chelsea Wradislavsky (Aaron), Lyle, Minnesota; brother, Terry Wradislavsky, Austin; sister. Caralyn Wradislavsky, Austin; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Hormel Historic Home. Burial will be at Rose Creek Enterprise Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to the American Lung Association.
