Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team takes down LeRoy-Ostrander

The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team came out shooting as it beat LeRoy-Ostrander 90-39 in Pacelli Gym Tuesday.

The Athletics (7-1 overall, 5-0 SEC) went nine-for-10 on three-pointers in the first half to take a big lead. Kristi Fett had 16 points for LP and Bethany Strouf stepped up to score 15 points.
“We played well. We really shot the basketball extremely well and we got Kristi a lot of touches early,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “The defense collapsed and we hit shots. Bethany Strouf played unbelievable and I think it was probably the best game she’s played in her career.”
Haley Hungerholt paced the Cardinals (1-7 overall, 1-3 SEC) with 18 points.
