Lorilei E. ‘Charlie’ Robinson, 62

Lorilei E. “Charlie” Robinson, 62, of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, died peacefully at her home on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.

She was born on the White Earth Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota on July 23, 1954, the daughter of William and Lucelia (Smith) Peake. Lorilei grew up in the Minneapolis area and moved to Blooming Prairie in 1994. In her leisure time, Lorilei enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds and squirrels, and anything to do with crafts. She also loved fishing and playing bingo. Lorilei will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline “Junior” Robinson of Blooming Prairie; her brother, Ed (Sandy) Smith of Bemidji, Minnesota; and many other relatives and friends. Lorilei was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calvin; her daughter, Jennifer; her granddaughter, Luah; and her sister, Leah Olson.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Blooming Prairie.
