The Hayfield girls basketball team will welcome some of the top girls teams in the state as it hosts its 2nd annual girls basketball showcase Saturday.

Hayfield will host seven games and tickets for the day are $8 for students and $8 for adults.

The two area teams in action will be Lyle-Paceli and Hayfield. The No. 10 ranked Athletics will take on sleepy eye at 2 p.m. and Hayfield, which is ranked No. 8 in Class AA, will take on Waseca at 7 p.m.

Other match ups include, Plainview-Elgin Millville, which is ranked No. 3 in Class AA, against Norwood Young America, which is ranked No. 4 in Class AA at 1 p.m.; St. Croix Lutheran vs. Tracy Milroy Balaton at 3 p.m.; Kenyon Wanamingo vs. Mountain Iron-Buhl, which is ranked No. 1 in Class A, at 4 p.m.; Kasson Mantorville, which is ranked No. 3 in Class AAA, vs. Orono, which is ranked No. 5 in Class AAA, at 5 p.m. and Byron vs. New Richland-HEG at 6 p.m.
