One of Austin’s largest Paint the Town Pink Plunging for Pink teams is ready to take the next plunge to fight cancer.

The Dutchtown Jumpers Plunging for Pink team raised $1,113 on Saturday during the annual Hoot & Ole’s Bean Bag Tourney & Hotdish Feed.

About 22 people participated in the outdoor bean bag tournament, but many more packed the bar to sample some of the roughly 17 hot dishes being served.

“It just keeps getting bigger,” said Hoot & Ole’s co-owner Judy Enright.

The Dutchtown Jumpers will next participate in Saturday’s Plunging for Pink on East Side Lake. The jumpers have been the top-raising team the last few years and are aiming to top $15,000 total this year. Saturday’s $1,113 is just a small part of that total.
