The Southland girls basketball team lost 61-35 to Winona Cotter (7-8 overall, 6-2 Three Rivers) in Adams Friday.

McKendry Kennedy had 11 points for the Rebels (2-6 overall, 2-4 Three Rivers), who struggled with ball control against the Ramblers.

“Cotter plays great full court defense and we didn’t handle it very well,” Southland head coach Dean Bendtsen said.
