The Austin boys hockey team lost 9-2 to Albert Lea (7-9 overall, 5-7 Big Nine) on the road Saturday.

The game was tied at 2-2 after one period, but the Tigers scored five goals in the second period to pull away.

Bradyen Merritt had a goal and an assist for Austin (8-9 overall, 5-7 Big Nine) and Kory Potach had one goal.
