Photo: City vs. county food drive brings in 3,300 pounds of food

This year, the county collected a total of 1,809 pounds for a 7.09 pounds per employee average and the city collected 1,565pounds for a 10.50 pounds per employee average. Both the city and the county’s contributions were up this year. Over 24 years, the friendly competition has raised a total of 48,726 pounds of food for the Salvation Army.
