Hayfield sophomore Mason Tapp came out firing as he helped lead the Vikings boys basketball team to a 61-47 win over Kenyon-Wanamingo (0-7 overall) in the Hayfield tournament Wednesday.

Tapp drilled his first five three-pointers of the night and he finished with a career-high 21 points for the Vikings (6-3 overall).

Hayfield will host Rushford-Peterson in the tournament title game 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
