Q: What sports do you play?
A: Football and basketball.
Q: How did you originally get into basketball?
A: In Austin Youth Basketball (AYB) when my father, Mark was my coach.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Oman Oman’s full court shot at the buzzer last year, and being featured on ESPN. The shot also beat out LeBron James for buzzer-beater of the year.
Q: What have you learned from sports?
A: Sports have taught me the importance of setting and achieving goals. Also, sports taught me success requires hard work, and without it you won’t achieve your goals.
Q: What is the hardest part of basketball?
A: Coming to school the morning after a late away game.
Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?
A: Tim Duncan because the guy never gave up and achieved goals.
Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: “Cast Away” because Chuck Noland, or Tom Hanks, never gave up, and kept believing.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Math.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: A video game tester for new, soon to be released video games or a blimp pilot for nationally televised sporting events.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pepperoni pizza or mint chocolate chip ice cream
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: Go to the University of Iowa and major in communications and computer science
Q: Fun fact or hobby?
A: I enjoy hunting and fishing with my father.
Q: What are your top three pump up songs before a game?
A: “Tiimy Turner” by Desiinger, “Harder Than Them” by Maino and “Run This Town” Jay Z, Rihanna, Kanye West.
Q: What are your top three guilty pleasure song?
Anything 70s and 80s because my dad listens to “70s on 7” on XM radio in the car. “More Than a Feeling” by Boston, “Dream On” by Aerosmith and anything Nickelback.
