Bonnie Jean “BJ” Tabor (Murphy), 36, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, from complications due to a massive stroke at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Bonnie was born Aug. 9, 1980, in Austin, Minnesota and was a resident of Mankato, Minnesota. She enjoyed her family and her family was her life.

She is survived by her two daughters, Alex and Madison Tabor; and her husband, Chris Murphy; granddaughter, Raelynn of Mankato; her mother and stepfather, Kathy and Marc Knutson of Austin, Minnesota; sister, Viola Tabor of Rochester, Minnesota; brothers, Pat (Joe) Tabor and Chris Tabor (wife Jessie) of Austin, Minnesota;  father- and mother-in-law, Bob and Marsha Murphy of Mankato, Minnesota; brother-in-law Jason Murphy of Mankato; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by aunts, uncles, step-father, grandparents, and granddaughter.

Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at Crane Community Chapel. Pastor Dale Christiansen will officiate. Immediately following the service there will be food in the fellowship hall.
