Blossoms bring their Wurst in win over Medford

The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team played strong defense in the first half as it beat Medford (2-1 overall, 1-1 Gopher) 57-38 in BP Friday.
Sam Wurst led the charge for BP (2-2 overall, 1-1 Gopher) as she scored 16 points, while grabbing six rebounds and getting three steals. Marissa Larson had 12 points and 14 rebounds for BP.
Medford shot five percent on field goals in the first half as BP jumped out to a big lead.
