The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team lost to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (2-0 overall, 1-0 Gopher) by a score of 61-53 Friday.

BP had tied the game up at 24-24, but WEM used a 10-0 run to take a 34-24 lead into the break.

McKenna Hein had eight points and 11 rebounds for BP (1-1 overall, 0-1 Gopher) and Marissa Larson had 16 points and eight rebounds.
