The Austin girls hockey team lost 6-2 to Faribault (7-3 overall, 6-2 Big Nine) on the road Thursday.

Faribault took a 2-0 lead in the second period and the Packers weren’t able to tie or take the lead.

Erin Bickler and Myia Hoium each had one goal for Austin (1-8 overall, 1-6 Big Nine) and Jordyn McCormack had two assists.

Faith Sayles had 30 saves for the Packers.
