Superlarks cruise past Lyle-Pacelli in playoff opener

The top-seeded Grand Meadow football team knocked off No. 8 Lyle-Pacelli 59-0 in a Section 1 nine man football quarterfinal in GM Tuesday.

Six different players scored in the win for GM (9-0 overall) as the Larks led 43-0 after the first quarter.

Kobie Schafer had 57 rushing yards in the loss for LP (0-9 overall).

GM will now play No. 4 Houston in the Section 1 nine man semifinals 7 p.m. Saturday. The Larks beat the Hurricanes 56-26 Oct. 14.
