Mildred Veronica Moeller, 94, of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at the Adams Healthcare Center.
Mildred was born June 22, 1922, in Austin to Kenneth and Helen (Feeley) Campbell. She graduated from Austin High School and went on to work for Northwestern Bell for 35 years, retiring in 1978. Mildred married Harry Wills in 1966. He passed away in 1968. Mildred married John Moeller and they resided in Lyle, Minnesota.
Mildred was a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church. She volunteered at Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin until the age of 89. Mildred brought much joy to many through her baking and famous fudge. Her favorite pastime was driving her car and eating at Perkins.
Survivors include two nieces, Lonna Powers, Iowa, Debby Rhoades, Colorado; nephew, Randy Campbell, Idaho; six great nieces, two great nephews, and their children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Helen; both husbands, Harry Wills and John Moeller; brother, Robert “Bob” Campbell; great nephew, Wade Masching.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Mayer Funeral Home with Father Jim Steffes officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Wednesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
