ST. PAUL — Jeff Grev, vice president of legislative affairs at Hormel Foods Corp. in Austin, was elected to the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2016-17.

The volunteer board represents businesses of all types and sizes across Minnesota. Minnesota Chamber officers are: chair — Jill Renslow, Mall of America, Bloomington; chair-elect – Mike Milstead, Ag Power Enterprises Inc., Owatonna; secretary-treasurer – Stephanie Laitala-Rupp, Commonwealth Properties, St. Paul; immediate past chair — Rick Trontvet, Digi-Key Electronics, Thief River Falls.

“Minnesota has much to promote including a strong quality of life and a talented workforce. Business leaders embrace change,” Renslow said. “At the same time, there are mixed results for Minnesota’s overall business and economic climate as underscored by our Minnesota Business Benchmarks. We pledge to work with policymakers to identify those statewide actions that create economic opportunity and growth. Minnesota must be ready for the future — ready for change and ready to grow.”
