H. David Dralle, 78

H. David Dralle, 78, of Adna, Washington, formerly of Rose Creek and Adams, Minnesota, passed away at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016, after a battle with cancer.

David was born in Austin, Minnesota, on Sept. 26, 1937. He attended school in Rose Creek and graduated from Adams High School in 1955. After high school, David spent three years in the Marine Corp. stationed in southern California. Upon his retirement, he spent many months in the construction of the Chehalis Veterans Memorial Museum, of which he was a proud sponsor.

In 1961, he married Rita Dralle at Mission San Luis Rey, Oceanside, California. They lived in southern California until 1992 when they moved to Washington. David worked for the Olivenhaim Municipal Water District, San Diego Sheriff’s Department, Electrolab and eventually had his own construction company.

David is survived by his wife, Rita; son, Michael (Vickie) of Encintas, California; daughter, Mary of Vista, California; sister, Nancy (Lewis), Lenz of Richmond, Minnesota; and sister, Mary Schmitz of Adams, Minnesota; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herald and Helen (Weideman) Dralle.
