One person was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin Thursday after a two-vehicle collision on 12th Street Southwest.

A 2011 Chevy Traverse and white Ford F-350 both sustained heavy front-end damage in the crash, which occurred around 4:38 p.m. on the 200 block of Street Southwest, according to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger.

A 23-year-old man, the driver of the Traverse, was taken to the hospital, but the 46-year-old female driver of the Ford complained of arm and wrist pain, likely from an airbag, but declined medical treatment.

A 15-year-old boy was also in the Ford at the time of the crash.

Airbags deployed in both vehicles.

Neither driver was cited in the crash.
