Housing Services are available at The Arc Mower County through a grant from the Hormel Foundation. This service is for those who want to live on their own or with a roommate.

What is Housing Services?

Housing Services helps eligible Minnesota adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to seek and locate suitable, affordable, accessible housing.

Who is eligible for Housing Services?

Adult Minnesotans of all ages who are eligible for waiver services who want a home of their own.

Housing Services can:

•Help eligible people find a place of their own from a group home or assisted living facility.

•Accompany you when you look at housing.

•Help complete rental applications and lease agreements.

•Meet and negotiate with landlords or property staff

•Help with applications for publicly financed housing.

•Help develop housing budgets.

•Assist with finding affordable furnishings and related household matters.

•Assist with application fees and deposits

Housing Services can help find you a home to call your own.

Upcoming Activities

•Monday: 64th Annual Celebration and Awards, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

•Tuesday: People First Aktion Club, 6 to 8 p.m.

•Wednesday: Community Connections — Womens Night Out, 4 to 9 p.m.

•Thursday: Creative Arts: Variety Night, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

•May 31: Bingo, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

•June 1: Open center, 6:30 to 8 p.m.

•June 2-4: Minneapolis/St. Paul Minnesota Vacation.
