Charles P. McDonald, 85, of Columbia Heights, Minnesota, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, passed away May 9, 2016.

Charles retired from Hormel Foods Corp. after 37 years of services.

He is survived by his children: Kevin (Diana), Gary, Daniel (Margaret), Colleen “Beany” (Kathy); grandchildren: Jill, Matt, Scott and Ryan; sister, Frances Larkoski; brothers: James, Robert and Donald.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur McDonald, and his sister, Patricia Patterson.

Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, with visitation one hour prior to the services at Werness Brothers Funeral Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Rd., 952-884-8145, www.washburn-mcreavy.com.
