BB guns missing from home

Four BB guns are missing from a southwest Austin home after a neighbor saw three people carrying items from a home.

At about 9:34 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to the 700 block of Second Avenue Southwest to the report of a burglary or theft in progress.

A neighbor reported that he saw three people carrying a BMX bike and flying a drone from the home. He approached them, but they left the scene, dropping the bike, valued at $300 to $400, and drone, valued at $100, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.

When the victim returned home, he discovered four BB guns were missing. Three of the BB guns were of a handgun style and valued at a total of $80. The other BB gun was a AR-15 style gun, valued at $160.

The victim said he had no suspects in mind. The neighbor said one of the suspects was about 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 7 inches tall with short blonde hair and wearing denim shorts that went just past the knee and a white shirt.

The investigation is ongoing.
