MOUNTAIN IRON — Authorities in northeastern Minnesota have made an arrest in the death of a 20-year-old man.

The 19-year-old male suspect is being held in the St. Louis County Jail in Hibbing on a tentative charge of second-degree murder.

The body of Jaysen Greenwood was found in the Mott Pit area of Mountain Iron last Thursday. WDIO-TV reports sheriff’s investigators say it’s believed Greenwood died less than 24 hours before his body was discovered by someone walking in the area.

The cause of death has not been released.
