Area high school teams will have to wait a little longer to get their seasons started.

Cold weather and rainy conditions put a halt to the Austin boys and track and field openers, which were scheduled to be in Faribault Tuesday.

Those events, plus all Lyle-Pacelli, Southland and Blooming Prairie sports were postponed on Tuesday.
