Lyle-Pacelli opens track and field season in Rushford-Peterson Invite

The Lyle-Pacelli track and field team opened its season with some strong performances at the five-team Rushford-Peterson Invite Tuesday.

Patrick Murphy took first in the shot put for the LP boys, the 4 x 400-meter relay team of Trevor Michel, Jordan Germain, Jacob Kramer and Nathan Drees took first and the 4 x 800-meter relay team of Michel, Germain, William Kahle and Drees took first.

Rachel Nelson took first in the 200-meter dash for the LP girls, Kayla Christopherson won the 1600-meter run and Sarah Holtz won the high jump.
