Josh Anderson is a senior forward on the Southland boys basketball team.
Q: How did you originally get into your sport?
A: I started playing when I was in fifth grade after watching my brother play for a couple years.
Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: My favorite memory is playing at the Mayo Civic Center in front of all our fans.
Q: What have you learned from playing sports?
A: To put fourth your best effort and give 100 percent at everything you do.
Q: What is the hardest part about your sport?
A: To play multiple games a week and make sure you play your hardest every game.
Q: Who is your biggest sports role model and why?
A: Dikembo Mutombo, he was a great defensive player and for his famous finger wag.
Q: What is your favorite movie or TV show?
A: The Walking Dead.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Science.
Q: What is your dream job?
A: Head coach for professional sports team.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Pizza.
Q: What are your plans after high school?
A: Attend Riverland to study carpentry.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you or hobby you enjoy most people don’t know about?
A: I like to hunt.
