A local Chevy dealer was broken into over a weekend in January.
Usem Chevy employees returned to work on Monday, Jan. 25, and noticed the service entry door was unlocked. It had been pried open and there were pry bar teeth marks on the door, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.
Krueger said the break-in happened sometime after 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23. File cabinets had also been pried open and offices were ransacked.
Officers checked the building the morning of Jan. 25 and discovered a cash drawer was missing. The amount of cash missing from the business was unknown, Krueger said.
Officers fingerprinted items, but there are no suspects at this time.
