Anderson’s three forces OT as Vikings top KoMets

The Hayfield boys basketball team pulled off a dramatic 57-54 win over Kasson-Mantorville (8-9 overall, 6-4 HVL) on the road Friday.
The Vikings (10-7 overall, 4-5 HVL) trailed by three when Aaron Anderson drilled an OT forcing three-pointer at the buzzer in regulation. Anderson, who scored 23 points, later hit two free throws to help ice the game in OT for Hayfield, which has won 10 of its last 12 games.
“It’s a huge win for us, especially with the way that it happened,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said. “We’re confident right now.”
